WALZ Rockland Copper Project

JLE was engaged by Walz Group to provide electrical and instrumentation services for the Rockland Copper Mine Process facility operated by Cudeco in Cloncurry Australia. Rocklands Group Copper Project is the Company’s first project and it comprises a 3 Mtpa capacity processing plant and three open pits. Electrically there is over 400 km of cable, 2,500 instruments, a 6.6KV High Voltage distribution system, and 10 switch rooms. JLE’s site team exceeded 100 people comprising Electricians, Instrument Technicians, High Voltage Technicians, Engineers, and Supervisors. JLE achieved this with zero LTIS.
