Project Description
JLE was contracted by Downer to carry out the electrical installation works to upgrade Pukekohe Bus Rail Interchange for the Auckland council. Work involved the installation of cable containment along new rail crossover bridge, supply lighting and power for bridge and 2 x lifts. Upgrade distribution boards to meet new requirements. Supply and install all cabling for cameras in carpark and bridge. Install fiber cabling and termination. Supply and install lighting in the new carpark and new bus shelter. Wire pay machines and time display. We had some challenging issues to work around the live stations and incoming/ leaving trains. Daily coordination was required to keep things moving. We look forward to collaborating with Downers in the future.
