JLE was contracted to remove the existing carbon steel heater radiant tubes and replace with chrome-moly tubing at Interoil’s Napanapa Refinery in PNG. The installation work was completed during a major turnaround at the refinery which required detailed planning from all stakeholders to ensure the project was completed on time. Whilst JLE’s construction manager was from NZ the rest of the team made up of riggers, welders and trade assistants came from the Philippines and PNG.
