Duplex Tank
Newcrest Mining contracted JLE to fabricate a duplex (SAF 2205) tank for the slurry system at their gold mining operations in PNG. The 5 metre diameter by 6 metre high tank was fabricated at JLE’s mechanical workshop in Hawera, South Taranaki. It was fabricated in one piece and transported to PNG on specially made cradles.
