Drilling Rig Erection
JLE was requested to supply electricians, structural welders, high pressure pipe welders, NDT technicians, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians to assist in the modification and erection of two drilling rigs in the Hides area for the Exxon pipeline in Papua New Guinea. The site is at 8,000ft above sea level and in an extremely remote part of PNG. JLE Electrical used it’s New Guinea based company, JLE PNG Ltd as the operating company for this project. JLE Electrical has supplied electricians with full work visas and work permits ex-pat staff to complete this work. JLE has now been on this project for almost 12 months and are currently delivering a project with zero LTI’s and MTI’s.
