JLE were engaged by Fletcher Construction to assist with the expanded scope and completion of instrumentation and electrical works for the Pohokura Production Station project.
This included the
completion of the site-wide services, site-wide earthing, tank farm, power and control, wellhead
completion and main plant completion. Prior to the main processing plant works, JLE were the
electrical contractors for the onshore drilling company.
This land-based rig set a record as the
largest rig of its type to be used in New Zealand. JLE is proud to have been associated with this Taranaki “icon” project. This project was completed ahead of time and below budget for Shell Todd Oil Services and their partners.
