JLE was chosen following their work at the underground gasification pilot project to install and commission the first coal seam gas well-heads for Solid Energy on the Huntly coal fields.
This work included electrical and instrumentation requirements for the Kudu well-head pumps, the water removal and purification system, install and connect the generator and connection equipment to supply the power generated to the national grid.
Our staff delivered this project on time, on budget with zero safety incidents whilst overcoming the added complexities of dealing with re-mote sites. As this is the first project of its kind for Solid Energy, it has required an increased level of documentation, health and safety and quality control systems. JLE’s ongoing commit-ment to safety has delivered a zero LTI, MTI and FTI project.
